Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade items is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or rings. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original level of the item upgrades and any money wasted aren't rewarded.

The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment using three attributes: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you require a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones are also available to players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the Best item upgrader. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can put in an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
